30 competitors came out in 4 fleets, 4 Olson 25's, 16 Knarrs, 7 Folkboats and 3 Cal 20's on a blustery day...4 retired before the start it was so windy, we had 2 halyard problems on the committee boat, a MOB, a broken boom and by the end of the 1st race, the Knarr's the Folkboats and the Olsen 25's quit for the day...so the 2nd race was abandoned because by then it was blowing up to 30 knots...
